Brief Background: Action Arts Academy USA has been teaching Taekwondo in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia for nearly 3 decades. Master Brad Tinnon started the school and ran it with his wife, Master Tricia Tinnon until shortly after his passing a number of years ago. Following those events, in 2019, Master Kirsten Hong (née Marsell) acquired the school and has operated it since that time.
The Announcement: Master Hong will be leaving the Hampton Roads area in early November 2025 and Action Arts Academy USA will become part of Boyd’s Defensive Arts, LLC! In addition, Master Tricia Tinnon is returning as our primary Taekwondo instructor.
We look forward to continuing the same level of Taekwondo and Combat Hapkido instruction as has always been offered and assisting you in your martial arts endeavors.
